Joanna Vince, Co-Founder & Vice President

Joanna VinceMy name Joanna. I’m old school. I’ve been trained to do the work, not talk about myself. None the less I want our clients to get to know me and my journey.

I started out in the early 1990’s in the Washington, D.C. area as a court reporter. After servicing the IRS tax courts, I realized there were two things I needed to do to make better business decisions: 1. I needed a financial advisor who was familiar with my business, and 2. I needed a tool to assist with tracking my finances more efficiently, I’m sure you’re looking for the same when you visited this site.

I’ve been an Enrolled Agent with the IRS several years now and love working with individual and small business clients to meet their financial goals. I started by doing an internship in taxation in 1996 and graduated in 1998. This was the start of a long and beautiful journey in the work that I love. This allows me to use my love of puzzles and numbers to the greatest advantage.

I take great pride in having assisted in the past few years over 400 business owners during COVID-19 pandemic with PPP and EIDL loan applications and loan forgiveness requests through live webinars and one-on-one consultations.

Licensed Certified Accounting Professional and Licensed Certified Payroll Specialist, and Certified Tax Strategist. Enrolled Agent with the IRS is a certification/licensed by the US Dept of Taxation and Treasury.


Mark Vince, President

Mark VinceI specialize in sales and customer service for MJV Consultants. I have had 35 years of experience in interacting with clients in all industries across the US to understand their needs, schedule contracted work, delivering services on time and follow up on customer satisfaction and feedback.

I also have extensive experience in inventory control, document management, data base maintenance and logistics. I have learned to the challenges of the small business owner and their employees. I'm the guy who prefers to meet “Face to Face.” Providing the most interactive communication possible. I use these skills to help the MJV staff to tailor our services, simplify processes and deliver our message effectively.

On a personal level I enjoys driving vintage vehicles, playing chess, puzzles and travel. I have special satisfaction in devoting much time in volunteering in my community.

Jocelyn Raschk, HR Assistant

JocelynAt MJV Consultants, I assist Brenda with onboarding, payroll, and creating helpful blogs and podcasts with my friend and coworker, Danielle. With over 5 years of experience being a training resource and mentor for others, I decided to apply those skills to a role in HR. I believe that HR is the greatest support for employees and employers which leads to measurable improvement in performance. Helping to find potential, motivate and assist people in reaching their current and future, professional goals, is what I take pride in.

In my personal life I am an active member of the community, and try to keep up with my growing family of nieces and nephews. I also have a background in customer service, art, graphic design and photography and it is my goal to use these skills in marketing for MJV and our valued partners/clients.
